The Story of Krishna.

Krishna, a simple man from a small village Yadahalli Mysuru District, studied up to 10th standard. One day his father went to daily wages, but he didn’t return. Krishna searched for his father everywhere, but he couldn’t find him. After his father’s disappearance, Krishna stopped his studies and started going for daily wage to feed the family and he has been taking care of his family since then. After some years Krishna got married to Rani, he was blessed with a girl child Punya, and he was happy.
One day while doing alteration work at his old home, he falls off from 8 feet height and the roofing zinc sheet hit him on his neck, he loses his lower body sense and not able to move. His wife admitted him to NIMHANS-Bengaluru for medical analysis, Doctor reported that his spinal cord is severely injured (Medical term: Quadriplegia, pressure sores, pericardial effusion and DM-II) needs to be operated.
His wife later took him to JSSS-Mysuru hospital. She took loan from all sources, it costed them more than 3 lakhs for the operation, but Krishna could not get his lower body sensation back, even after the operation. It has been more than 4 years since he is bedridden, his wife has been taking care of him since then. Since Krishna was only the sole breadwinner, the family is now pushed to serious financial crisis.
Krishna’s daughter is studying in LKG and Krishna's mother (aged 60) goes for daily wage to feed the family. Krishna’s younger sister working as a garment worker in the factory Bengaluru, sending the money for the medical expenses but this money is not sufficient to meet Krishna’s medical expenses. Water gets accumulated in Krishna's lungs and other parts of his body, it must be removed from his body by admitting to hospitals (JSSS, ANAGHA And Narayana Health Center-Mysuru) monthly, twice or thrice this will lead to monthly expenses around Rs. 20,000/-.
