Urgent Plea: Help Kishore's Fight Against Anti-GBM Disease
My name is Upasana, and I'm reaching out for my husband Kishore.
A few months ago, a viral fever hit our house. While everyone else got better, my husband's fever stuck around. Tests revealed a severe kidney-related infection, and Kishore was diagnosed with anti-glomerular basement membrane disease (anti-GBM), a rare autoimmune disorder attacking his kidneys.
Since the diagnosis, Kishore has been on a tough dialysis journey. Every other day, we take him to the hospital, and the toll on our family is immeasurable. My husband, once the rock of our family, is now mentally and physically drained.
Our two young kids, a 13-year-old son and a 9-year-old daughter, are doing their best to help. They've taken on responsibilities beyond their years, from household chores to keeping an eye on their father, even though they may not fully understand how serious it is.
Kishore's condition isn't improving despite continuous treatment, and a kidney transplant is the only option left. If we can't afford it, the implications for our family are dire.
If Kishore doesn't make it, our children will be left without a father. The thought of raising them alone, taking care of their studies and future, is overwhelming. I fear that I may not have the strength to hold everything together if Kishore is not with us.
We urgently need financial assistance for the transplant. Our children deserve a chance at a normal life. Your support can bring hope back into our lives.
