My sister Kamala Sarkar, aged 75, lives alone and has no immediate family except a young granddaughter. Her only daughter died decades back and husband followed soon after. She is suffering from colon cancer and needs immediate surgery.  The cost of the same is approximately 3 Lakhs and we will require funds to take care of her for her post operative needs. Opting to not do the surgery could mean much suffering for my sister and I am hoping to give her at the very least the most necessary treatment and alleviate her pain as much as possible.
