We GOSCRAP have made a pledge to save our society from the burden of millions of tonnes of unmanaged waste produced every year in our society.Be it unmanaged plastic wastes,e-waste,rubber,glass,metal,cardboard,paper we collect everyform of waste which are not managed properly.We are cleaning garbage from unattended parts of the cities like shops,theatres,malls,streets,junkyards etc.We are cleaning waste out of unattended water sources which can be very unpleasant and the local government is reluctant to look into these matters.The people of our city got a firsthand example of mismanagement of plastic through heavy water clogging of streets for the last 5 years.We collect all the garbage material and try and seggregate most of the recyclable materials and dispose the rest scientifically and carefully.
1.For every tonne of recyclable plastic we procure we will donate Rs 1000 for the CLEAN GANGA INITIATIVE taken by our government
2.For each 100 kg of recyclable waste we procure we will donate Rs 100 to underprivileged kids of the local rag picker's family
3.There are thousands of kids who work as rag pickers everyday.They are exposed to a range of harmful elements and often come in contact with contagious diseases.We wish to educate them about these side effects and also reduce the number of child labours as possible.
4.Most people do not know the importance of recycling and even if they do, they do not know what all can be recycled. We are not aware of the fact that by recycling one ton of paper we can save something like 17 trees, or by recycling an aluminium can we can save enough energy to run the TV for three hours. Once data like this is shared in an awareness drive, people take recycling a lot more seriously.
5.We connect with kids at schools right away. Children are already familiar with the ‘reduce, reuse and recycle’ concept and it just makes it easier to make headway with them. Children who are extremely environmentally conscious, seriously implement the concept in their schools and homes.
6.We offer cost-effective solutions to your waste handling requirements and help you report them effectively.We recognize your bit in greening the environment, we provide a certificate of waste diversion and CO2 mitigation.
