    This fundraiser will benefit

    Chandranath Banerjee

    from Kolkata, West Bengal

"I still remember getting a cake for my son's birthday. Instead of cutting it with us, he took the cake and cut it with the beggars outside my house. That's how my Chandra is. His heart is so pure but now he is living on borrowed time. And no matter how much I try I can't save him on my own." - Suswata, mother

Chandranath was just 6 years old the first time he came to know what cancer is, in 2014, when he was diagnosed with Leukemia. At the time, he just knew that there were some bad things in his body that he had to fight, but he could have never guessed that this fight would not just be a long one but also very painful. Itook him almost 2 years to beat cancer the first time. Now, he is 11 years old, and his cancer has relapsed. This time he knows how tough the fight is going to be.

Last time they were able to afford his treatment, but now they feel helpless

"Back in 2014, I was fortunate enough to be able to afford his entire treatment of 18 lakhs. We had to sell our land and ornaments, take some loans, but getting our son back healthy meant the world to us. But a few months ago he started getting rashes and high fever. This was how it started last time, so we were terrified! Upon reaching the hospital, not only were our fears confirmed, we got to know he is at such a high risk that this time he needs an urgent Bone Marrow Transplant to survive!" - Kalidas, father

35 lakhs in just one month is far beyond Kalidas' ability to arrange

Over the years, Kalidas has done a lot of part-time jobs at night along with his day job to be able to pay off the loans from last time. But now he needs another 35 lakhs, and that is just far beyond his reach. Chandranath is his world, and he cannot imagine losing him to cancer, especially after he already saved him once from it.

This kind little boy does not deserve to be in so much pain

"He used to get a lot of injured dogs and birds home. He has always been so kind. It's just so unfair that he has to go through so much pain. But he never complains. It's been 5 years since he has been facing all these issues and all this pain, but he never complains! Please, save him. Save our boy!"

Only way to help him this time is to support his transplant worth 35 lakhs so that we can help his parents save him. Please contribute to Chandranath's campaign.
