    This fundraiser will benefit

    Baby of Sushila

    from Jaipur, Rajasthan

“I have never felt this helpless in my life. My baby boy is fighting for his life in the ICU and I am unable to even go and see him. We don’t have the money to buy the bus tickets to Jaipur. My husband, Mahipal,  and I just want to bring him home, hug him, play with him. But he needs to stay in the ICU for at least a month and if I can’t afford the treatment, we will lose him,” - Sushila, mother.

The parents haven’t been able to go back to the hospital after their first visit. They are pining for their baby who is too weak to even feed and breathe.

The newborn wakes up to painful injection pricks

Sushila thinks she is the unluckiest mother. She hasn’t held her baby, neither has she cradled him to sleep. The last she had seen his face properly was 11 days ago, when they took her baby in an ambulance to the NICU as she lay in her bed with painful stitches and a heavy heart. She could afford to go to the hospital only once after that. Then her baby was all covered in tubes. The little one has severe difficulty in breathing. A dangerous infection is making this child sick with every passing day.

“I can’t explain what is going on in my mind. I pass every minute fearing that I will hear the worst news. It seems to me that even God has turned his back on me,” - Sushila, mother.

Mahipal has used all his savings, he can’t save his baby’s life without your help

Mahipal is a daily wager who works on others’ farms. He is from a small village about 100 kms away from Jaipur. With no rain for the last few months, he hasn’t had any income off late. But unfortunately for him, his expenses have been skyrocketing.

“Everything I had saved up for my wife’s delivery was used up. I was not prepared for this at all and now the doctors have told that without the one month stay, my baby boy will not make it. Without your help, I will never be able to bring back my baby home,” - Mahipal, father.

He has already spent around a lakh for his baby but he needs about 3.4 lakhs more. A little help from your side can bring back the happiness of these young parents.

Sushila and Mahipal are praying for a miracle that can save their baby boy's life - you can be their ray of hope
