2 week old baby Niti born on 29/12/17, at Shamli, UP. Soon after his birth forthing from mouth was observed requiring hospitalization in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi the same day.
The father says, “My 2 weeks old son is suffering from abnormal connection between tube that connects mouth to stomach and wind pipe. It is a birth defect. He has already undergone with surgery and doctors say that my baby has to taken up for second surgery also. I am working as a medical representative in a small company and hardly able to earn Rs 13,000 every month only. I have sold my small house and have already spent Rs 4 lakhs on treatment. I am the only person earning in the family. I have exhausted all my savings. I cannot afford further treatment. I am afraid I might lose my son. I earnestly request you all to please help me to collect Rs 7, 00,000 further required to save my son’s life.”
The baby was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital New Delhi on 29/12/17 the day of his birth, and diagnosed to have ESOPHAGEAL ATRESIA WITH TRACHEO ESOPHAGEAL FISTULA for which the bay underwent right Posterlateral Thoracotomy with complete repair of ESOPHAGEAL ATRESIA WITH TRACHEO ESOPHAGEAL FISTULA on 30/12/2017. The baby will need additional corrective surgery and will need intensive care in the NICU for another 3 weeks to facilitate in recovery.
