    This fundraiser will benefit

    Baby of Namasvi

    from Hyderabad, Telangana

Within a few days of delivery, Vinoda and Sharath were told that their baby has a heart disease and needs surgery as soon as possible. They didn't even get time to hold the baby wholeheartedly. She was put in the ICU for observation and is in very critical condition now.

"Doctors say they will put her on ventilator support for 3-4 days, he says that my baby needs major operation to get cured" - Vinoda

What is her name?

Vinoda and Sharat got so worried about saving their daughter’s life that they didn’t really think about giving her a name until the doctors asked. They named her in the hospital while she was in the ICU.

“Looking at her, all I thought was… she is my goddess and I told the doctor her name, Namasvi”- Sharath

Namasvi means Goddess Parvati

Her mother stands at the ICU door, waiting

Vinoda has not fully recovered from the delivery yet and the doctors asked her to take some rest, but she refuses. She waits for doctors or nurses who come out of the ICU and keeps asking about her daughter’s condition.

“She needs rest but I am myself unable to sleep. When... what will happen.. we are very worried” - Sharath

We only get paid once in 6 months

Vinoda and Sarath, both work on other’s farms as labourers. They get paid for their work only after the crops are sold which takes 6 months. Their baby is in a critical condition and they have no sources to get money and afford the treatment.

We somehow managed to spend Rs 2 lakh till now but we have nothing left anymore, I can’t let my baby...I can’t watch her in pain. I just want to hold her.” - Vinoda

The treatment requires Rs 4 lakhs and without your help, Vinoda and Sarath will not be able to see their baby. Namasvi has a good chance of survival and with your kind help, she can live a normal life.
