4-month-old baby Arush is fighting for his life every day. Suffering from Biliary Atresia- a liver condition. His life has become all about inserting needles in his stomach to remove the fluid stored due to his liver disease. His parents, Anushka and Ishwar are heartbroken to see their child go through the pain every day.
4-month-old Arush has been suffering from this liver disease ever since he was born. His diagnosis came soon after he was admitted few weeks after he was born with a case of bloated tummy.
"What is even more heartbreaking is that we can't do anything about it. We are poor, we cannot even fund our son's treatment to save him", said Ishwar, with a break in his voice.
As it stands, the doctors have advised liver transplant as the sole option for survival. Tests for deciding the donor hasn't been started yet as the family is still struggling to arrange for funds.
Ishwar is a farmer and earns close to Rs.7000 per month by working on his field along with his wife, Anushka.
