Arun's story, like many others, underscores the urgency of Aroh's mission. He passed away soon after enriching their lives with wisdom, but he taught Bindu and the volunteers the value of cherishing every moment because life is unpredictable. Funds stand in the way of saving precious lives
“The average treatment cost for paediatric cancer is INR 5 lakhs. Depending on the severity of the cancer, the treatment costs can even range from INR 50 lakhs to 1 crore. Poor people cannot afford this and often leave their children’s lives to fate. Our mission and ultimate aim is to save every child who has been diagnosed with cancer in India. We know it is not an easy feat, but we are doing everything we can to get there” - Bindu N Nair
