Flying dogs to the US is very expensive hence we have the adopters but no funds….Please help Angel & Nanhi to fly to US to have a chance of forever homes.
Both Angel and Nahi have unique and difficult past but are very brave and are waiting to have a forever family where they get all the love that helps them forget their difficult past!
Angel – Here’s my story. I was hardly 30 days old around Feb 2017, with no mom , no siblings around, all malnourished and full of ticks and fleas and very close to a highway. I was found by Bharti who knew I’d never make it in my condition. She took me home and then later found a foster home for me. When Bharti came back to check on me in the foster home she found me in a bad state as the foster did not treat me well and I was all scared and would always hide myself beneath their bed. Bharti saved me once again and I was adopted but this too was short lived, my new owner didn’t want me after just one week and Bharti did was necessary to ensure I wasn’t thrown out on the streets.
I have now been to few different boardings and 2 shelters and am about 1.2 yrs old now. I’m in a boarding right now where I'm getting lot of love and have just started trusting humans again. Though I’m still a little scared of humans due to my difficult past, but I never bark at them or get aggressive. Rather I am very docile and timid and I just hide myself in a corner if I am scared. There is no chance of my adoption in India as I’m a desi dog however we have found someone in the US who is ready to adopt me. I wanna go, please, please, please help Me.
Nanhi – I was about 6 months old when I lost my way and went to an unknown society in Gurgaon in March 2017. I was attacked by street dogs around and was found by Bharti. I was badly wounded and had huge, deep wounds on my neck and all over. I would constantly whine due to pain so I was sent to Happy Paws Medicare Boarding, which is the best medicare boarding in Delhi/NCR. I was there for about 1.5 months for treatment that costed about 17K INR (can be confirmed from Aarti Bhardwaj, the owner of Happy Paws). I am about 1.6 yrs old and all adoption attempts in India have failed. Indian people don’t want indie dogs. Luckily, US people have been welcoming us with open arms and I have found a potential adopter in the US who is happy to give me forever home and give me all the love and care.
The approximate cost for flying one dog to the US is about 1.28 lac INR that includes airline freight, documentation, required permit, micro chipping, vaccination, crates in which they will travel etc. That makes the cost around 2.5 lac for both Angel and Nanhi. They will be flying to different cities as both are getting adopted in different families.
Please help us raise funds for Angel and Nanhi so they are able to get all the love they always deserved.
I will keep you all posted with their pictures when they fly and after they have landed in the US. I will keep on updating the post as to how they adjust with their new families etc.
