Two successful critical surgeries is holding the hope of Allen and his family alive. To be in ICU, with intense observation for a minimum of three months will cost more than 15 lakhs and you are our only hope.

It's not a usual busy school day for 12-year-old Allen Sheron. It's Saturday, a day of a long sleep, full-day cartoons, cycling, playing with friends. Yes, the day too started happily as expected. "Allen never used to sit patiently, not even for a minute." his grandma says. Just to relax after his games, he decided to watch cartoons for a while.

It's around 12 noon and no one would have expected, Sheron bored of his cartoons, went upstairs to see his dad doing some household works upon the terrace. Like all kids, Allen was jumping, walking over the terrace, conversing with his dad. Flooding him with questions. Within no time, Sharon had an unexpected fall from the terrace. Dad rushed down. Seeing him lying, he realized the fall is fatal. Sharon is conscious, suffering in pain, not having any movement.

Sharon's dad and neighbors lifted him and took him to a nearby hospital. The initial medical analysis showed severe neck and spine injury and has lost his senses down from the neck. Since he has to be taken for the next level of intensive care, he was transferred to KIMS hospital, Trivandrum, Kerala. 100 km from his home town.

In KIMS he has been diagnosed with multiple spinal cord fractures (C4, C5). Two surgeries done and the surgeions response about the successful surgery is holding the hope of Allen and his family alive. He is still in ICU, with intense observation for avoiding any sort of infection, that could be fatal. His senses down from neck has not been regained. Doctors have confirmed that he might need intense medical support and observation for atleast a minimum of three months in ICU.

Allen has already lost his mother in a road accident earlier in 2013 and is with his father and grandma's care.

Allen's father with his small income, he is not in a position to continue his treatment expenses. He has already put his land for sale, which will only yield a small percentage of the expenses. Although neighbors and relatives are helping monetarily, for an amount of 11 lakhs, he desperately needs help from generous people.
