Baby Aaradhya is just 3 months old, but her liver is completely damaged. It had started with a disease called biliary atresia, a condition in which the ducts in her liver were blocked, but doctors could not successfully rectify it. Now, the only option left for her survival is an urgent liver transplant, but the procedure is completely out of the reach of little Aaradhya’s middle-class family.

Before Aaradhya was born to Bhanu Kumar and Soumya, they had another child, a son. But his life was short-lived, and he had passed away only 15 days after he came into the world. They were blessed with Aaradhya soon after, but she started getting fevers and her body turned yellow after a month of her birth due to severe jaundice. Now, she is in a critical condition.“Our prayers were answered when our little angel was born. But now, the bad memories are coming back to us. We are being pushed into a dark place mentally. Forced to take her to another city for treatment, they cannot keep up with the expenses
Recently, Baby Aaradhya’s tummy began swelling up and she would even vomit continuously whenever she drank milk. That is when her parents were advised to take her to a super specialty hospital in Chennai, away from their hometown in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. With no relatives and nobody to help them, they are awaiting a miracle to save their baby girl.“I earn just 14,000 rupees in a month. How will I afford her liver transplant which costs lakhs and lakhs of rupees? I am struggling to buy food and afford rent in Chennai.
