Story
While scrolling the pages of life or the pages of social media we get acquainted with many heart-wrenching stories which is beyond our thinking. And 13 years old Pradeep is the victim of the same.
At the age of 9 months only, he was suffered from thalassaemia for which his parents didn't have any idea.
Thalassaemia is a chronic disease and inherited blood disorder in which the body makes an abnormal form of haemoglobin which causes an excessive destruction of Red Blood Cells and hence leads to anaemia. It is a rare disease in India and sometimes can't be detected when in a minor stage. It demands medical diagnosis, lab tests and imaging which are quite expensive processes and beyond the affordability of low salaried man.
As per Naresh ( Pradeep's father), he and his wife are not suffered from Thalassaemia but since they got married when they were minor and Pradeep was also delivered during their minor age, Pradeep was suffered from Thalassaemia as specified by the doctor. During the initial stage of treatment, doctors held that it could be cured with proper medications but with time the situation got worsened and bone marrow transplant remained the only way out to save him.
As described above its diagnosis itself is an expensive process and burden of transplant added to this.
Naresh, being a car driver, wasn't capable enough to take an instant step but being a father he collected his guts and decided to hold every possible way he could. After the test, it was found that his youngest son Praveen's bone marrow got matched with Pradeep and hence they proceeded a step ahead.
With the help of Government medical schemes and the people from every hook and corner, he arranged, anyhow, around 20 lakhs and on 20th of December 2017 , Pradeep's bone marrow transplant was successfully conducted at CMC hospital Vellore.
After months of treatment, they returned to Raipur, located in the state of Chhattisgarh. On one side when Pradeep was out of danger the other side a new challenge was knocking at the Naresh's door.
Naresh works in a wood mill and earns around 7500/- a month and he has to spend a minimum of 22000/- per month for Pradeep's regular checkups and medicines. Moreover, due to the unhygienic condition at their old house ( that was made up of clay), it compelled them to buy a home on rent at another place. Pradeep and his siblings had to left their schooling due to inevitable poor financial conditions.
Since Naresh has been a taxi driver earlier and is experienced in that particular field we can help him to buy a car so that he would be able to join the cab companies like Ola ( in Raipur) and could earn a handsome salary with a long-term job security. And this job will help him and his family in the following ways:-
1. His children will be able to resume their schooling. And hence their future will be secured.
2. Pradeep will be exposed to monthly treatment without any difficulty as Naresh will have the money in his hand and he can take leave as per his requirement.
3. At last , the family condition will be improved and they will lead a happy and healthy life ahead.
Please come forward and help Naresh Sen and his family to fight the situation by donating funds to buy a car and to generate for him some initial funds for the children to get them admitted in the school.
