Nishant Nadan a student of age 21 from Katihar ( Bihar )studying in Bhopal (SIRT college) has to go through intestine transplantation surgery as soon as possible.This is one of the rarest case in India. Nishant was admitted in Paras Hospital (Patna) on 26th April and doctors found 1.5 litres of Toxic Haemorrhagic fluid on perotoneal cavity and whole of small bowel is gangrene except proximal 15cm of jejunum and distal 10cm of ileum and advised to remove the particular intestinal part because it was damaged totally . Doctors operated him and removed the particular part that day. He was on ventilator for 4 days . Nishant was kept under observation for 2 more days .
Doctors in Paras hospital can not under go a transplantation surgery so they advised and referred his case to AIIMS Delhi . On 4th May, Nishant was taken to Delhi . On 5th May morning the doctors of AIIMS Delhi went through reports and told the family that this case can not be handled in their hospital and advised them to shift him in Medanta Delhi for the surgery. The estimated amount for this operation by Medanta is 50 lakhs .
As Nishant belongs to a average doing family, also his father had undergone through a open heart surgery last year so his family is going through hard times emotionally and financially.
As a citizen to obey humanity we all should come together and contribute as much as we can for this young boy.
