My classmate and friend Viji Ajayan is suffering with cardiomyopathy. In 2016 she underwent a major surgery for her heart valve. A few months later several health issues stormed into her life. It impacted her other organs and She even had tough time to breathe normally or take care of her 8-year-old daughter. According to the doctors, the only way to save her life is heart transplantation.  Viji is now surviving with a 15% functional heart. Any time she can expect a massive cardiac arrest (that can take her life) before which she must undergo heart transplantation. While doctors are waiting to identify a matching heart, the whole burden of medical expenses is on the shoulders of her beloved husband Ajayan.

Once a matching organ is identified, the proposed surgery will take place in Kottayam Medical College, Kerala. The surgery and medical bills post surgery are highly expensive.  Unfortunately her family cannot afford this huge amount. Once the organ is ready, the surgery must take place within 3 - 7hrs. As you all know, it will be insane to hunt for money at that moment. The family must be equipped with all financial support ahead of the surgery. 

We, a few classmates, are already trying our best to support her financially. Since the expense to save her life is huge, we need your financial support to make it possible. The family had already gone through a lot of crisis within this short period.  The time is very precious for Viji and she wish to spend that time with her husband and daughter. It will only be possible once her family is freed from their huge medical bills. The post surgery expenses include her 1-month stay in hospital plus safe stay somewhere close to the Hospital in Kottayam city. The fundraising is only for her hospital bills.
