As the whole world is struggling with the consequences of the COVID-19 outbreak, we are particularly worried about the impact on those who already were in a critical situation before the outbreak. We are altering our Milaap campaign to instead of supporting our work under RESET, to support us in providing with food for the farmers in the RESET villages, whether or not they are part of the program.
Within the farmer villages we are identifying those farmers who need support the most. We provide with daily necessities such as vegetables, rice, oil. An amount of $14 can help one farmer family to have sufficient food for one year.

Global climate change is now becoming a reality and posing as an impediment to agricultural systems. Coupled with environmental degradation and natural resource depletion, it is likely to impact millions of lives, especially of those who are less advantaged. With more than three-quarters of the agrarian community in India comprising of small and marginal landholders, who are reeling under the vagaries of the weather, it is imperative that certain steps be taken to insulate the ecosystem, of which they are a vital part.
At Grameena Vikas Kendram, under the RESET initiative that has been designed keeping in mind climate risk management and regenerative farming principles, we co-create vision, knowledge and innovation. By joining hands with farmers, we have set out to achieve astronomical figures of 62,500 acres and 15,000 farmers in the coming 5 years. Through RESET, we are aiming to create the world’s first regenerative cotton value-chain by imbibing the principles of ethical production and calling for conscious consumption, seriatim setting in motion, a self-sustaining system.
For this, we need more people to introspect and make responsible choices for the global family that we are a part of. With your good deed, we will equip our farmers with knowledge and skills through training and capacity-building. With you support you can help us scale up, reach and train 1000 farmers for the 2019 growing season. We seek your support to make the world a little more equitable for those who suffer the main force of it.
