Geeta Bisht was rushed in the emergency panel of Kosmos Hospital in Karkardooma. From then she has spent 2 days in ICU and the rest in general ward till 2 November.
She is being currently diagnosed with blood infection & GB syndrome that has resulted in increase her TLC count (infection level). Due to the infection and GB syndrome she has become bedridden. Her nerves are so weakened that she hardly manages to lift her arms even by an inch.
Moreover, due to the syndrome and blood infection, the 3rd fistula that was made on her right hand also stopped working and again neckline method was undertaken for dialysis as her both kidneys are non-functional.
Doctors has given a maximum duration of 1.5 months to go for the graft surgery at the earliest, as neckline method is for dialysis and if it is continued for long then it results in more severe infection.
Apart from her graft surgery, an another treatment has to be done for the GB syndrome. Doctor has also given us the treatment cost overview, that even a single injection will cost a minimum of around INR 3,500/- and the treatment is only done in the major league hospitals such as Fortis & Max.
We also tried in Govt. hospitals and consulted doctors of RML and Safdarjung but the crowd in govt. is more than the no. of beds in the hospitals. Situation is such critical that in RML hospital 2 patients are sharing the same bed.
After looking at this situation wisely we are constrained to get her treatment from pvt. hospital as the infection level might get severe if treated in such govt. hospital conditions.
Till now all her treatment bills are being paid in Cash as she doesn't have a panel nor any insurance to claim in this critical situation. She is separated from her husband and takes care of her 2 sons by her own. Her elder son Himaksh (turned 20) is currently studying and working as part time to support his family and her younger son (Vandan) studies in 7th class.
I would like to request for any amount of help that will surely help us in this severe condition.
