I am Sri Chakra Pranav working as field conservationist for Fishing Cat Conservancy organization. I was invited to present my paper on "Testing alternative livelihoods to help protect endangered fishing cats and their small, fragmented mangrove habitat patches in coastal Andhra Pradesh, India". This fund raiser is to provide travel assistance for me to travel and  present my paper at 25th international conference of TWS being held at Cleveland, Ohio, USA.

Conference will be held between 7th and 11th of October. The funds will be used solely for my travel, accommodation and food expenses. approximately 2400 USD ( 1,90,000 INR ) are the expected expenses. Fishing cat conservancy is paying some of the expenses and I intend to raise the rest through this platform.

This helps in global exposure of endangered fishing cats and our efforts to protect it. This might help our organization to get further funds and continue our conservation work.
