INNER GARMENTS - A SYMBOL OF DIGNITY AND CONFIDENCE FOR FEMALE

WHAT IS IT

Whenever people visit orphanages most likely they offer food. Some give books, some may give used dresses. But what about inner garments? Cannot give used ones. Especially what about Orphan girls? When needed whom shall they ask? When they ask care taker, if approved okay. Otherwise asking again and waiting is so embarrassing and uncomfortable.

WHAR ARE WE

We, Team EXTRA MILE, a NPO non profit organisation, born for this cause, with a target of providing inner garments for 1000 orphanage girls in 3 years.

HOW MUCH COST

One set of Inner Garments (bra+petticoat +panty) cost Rs 150. And we give two sets to each orphan girl. Means Rs 300 per girl. Each time, ideally for every three months, we provide for 100 orphanage girls.

HOW WE DO
We visit approach orphanages first. Take details of girls and sizes from the care taker. We again visit another orphanage and take details of girls again. Like this till we get details 100 girls. Meanwhile we keep campaign the cause for donations, by the time we get 100 girls information.

Then we collate the data as how many numbers required against each size. Buy in lot from Good Vendors who provide us best discount for the Cause.

Then we visit again the orphanages, one by one, as a group along with volunteers. Female volunteers not only distribute the inner wear, they also take sessions for girls of different age groups creating awareness and importance of using inner wear on a girl's perspective.

Till now distributed to 300 girls in 6 months, in the orphanages mentioned below. Ideally this drive goes for every three months catering needs of 100 orphanage girls each time.
