I have had a wonderful childhood - full of happiness, songs and laughter. This, in turn gave me inner strength and courage to face all difficulties in life. Much of it is due to the wonderful time I had at my Kindergarden School, 'Tiny Tots', Kolkata. Here, the teachers were sweet and beautiful, and we learnt through pleasure and fun, songs and laughter.

I wanted to give the same wonderful childhood experience to the new generation of tiny tots. So that they can face the difficult times ahead with courage and conviction, and look back into their childhood memories for inner strength. Besides, I just love children.

Hence, after a successful career at IIT KANPUR, as a Senior Research Engineer, I started this new KG School, ESSENCE KIDZ SCHOOL, at Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

This school has Play Group, Nursery, KG1, and KG2 classes for children from age 2 to 5 years.

While I have spent almost Rupees 1million (INR 10,00,000), on setting up the school, paying teachers, rent, publicity, and my own upkeep since January, 2016, the school has not taken off.

Perhaps owing to inadequate publicity, or improper location, there has been no admissions, and I am faced with the prospect of closing down the school.

Guys, I cannot give up on my dream, just like that. Please help me realize my dream.

I feel that I can realize my dream of having a self-sustaining (no profit) vibrant school for little children, full of laughter, high spirits, fun, play, and learning, if only I can carry on till the next admission season, that is, April, 2017.

If required, we will move to a new location. The present location is a bit back off the main street, and accessed through a dirt road. I chose this because I thought children should be protected from traffic and pollution hazards. Perhaps, I was wrong.  And, this time, I will do proper publicity.

I need approx Rs. 50,000/- per month to keep going till April, 2017. This amount will go towards paying the rent, teachers salary and salary for a manager of the school. Additional Rs. 1,00,000/- will be required for publicity, and to buy more material, books, toys and puzzles for the kids. If we decide to shift location, another Rs. 1,00,000/- will be required for advance rent and security deposit to the new owner.

Thus a total of Rs. 5,00,000/- is required to sustain the school.

I am sure, with all your benevolent help, I will realize my dream of rebuilding the beautiful childhood I had for the children of today.

Come on guys, lets give, at least a few children, what our parents and teachers gave us - A HAPPY CHILDHOOD.

...And a School, that is NOT SET UP FOR MAKING MONEY.
