Story

Why am I fundraising?

With the world busy fighting over religion or which country to bomb, no one took notice of a major metropolitan city that was rapidly drowning within a span of 4 days. As we all know, Chennai did not wait to be rescued but rescued itself. Chennai rose from the rubble and today it is slowly recovering from the scare of what nature can do and is entirely focused on rebuilding and restoring itself.

On that note, I feel I can play a small part in contributing to making an effective and efficient Chennai rehabilitation process once I reach Chennai in 2 weeks.

My Plan?

To personally help at least some of the affected families by distributing "Relief hampers" containing basic provisions, toiletries, first aid medicines, insect repellents and clothing sustaining their basic needs for the time being
Depending on the amount raised, I also plan to contribute to the Little Flower Convent Higher Secondary School for the Visually Impaired

FAQs

Collaboration?: I would like to personally do the ground work with the help from my bro and few friends and hence, I do not plan on partnering with any organisations
Why me?: Since many of know me personally, I will ensure your contribution would be used in the best possible way. It will bring a smile on at least few families this New Year. Pics will follow soon!
