As many of you know, the two of us (Arshia and Ayana) have been working with a class of around 35 children in a government-aided school in Bangalore for the last four years. We have taught the kids since they were in the 4th grade and they’ve just finished 7th grade, waiting to embark on their high school journey.

Now that they are leaving for high school, some of our most promising kids are about to enroll in private English Medium schools in Bangalore. We know they are hardworking, intelligent, and as deserving as other students who attend these schools.

However, not every student's family can afford to pay private school fees. We want to make sure none of our kids lose the opportunity to study in a good school only because of that, and so we are trying to raise funds for the tuition fees for 6 of them.

For each child, we are trying to raise INR 35,000 for a whole year (this will include everything – tuition fees, uniforms, books, etc).
Since we are raising these funds for 6 children, for 3 years each, we are aiming for a total amount of INR 6,30,000.

The reason we are trying to raise funds for 3 years (8th, 9th and 10th grade) for each child is because once we take responsibility of their education, we want to be able to help them finish up to at least the 10th grade. We don’t want to abandon helping them in between due to a lack of funds.

If you would like to contribute or take responsibility separately for one child (for a year or till 10th grade), or send the fees directly to the school instead, please let us know and we will find a way for you to do so.
