Mangilal Needs Your Love And Support To Beat Cancer

We are the students of NIT Warangal. Our friend Mangilal Tejavath, studying in ECE dept. has been suffering with acute leukemia from 16 months. His initial treatment could not make the situation anything better. He has to undergo Chemotherapy immediately, followed by Bone Marrow transplantation which would cost about 35-40 lakhs as said by the hospital authorities of Christian Missionary College,Vellore. He hails from a poor(we literally mean it) agrarian family from a remote village Chinna Banjara Thanda, Garla, Khammam dist. Telangana. Inspite of the hardships from childhood, he managed to score 9.8gpa in class 10 and 975 in intermediate.

From the very bottom of our heart we kindly request you to help this bright star.Looking forward to hear from you,

Thanking you
Students NIT Warangal.

Dear Supporters,

Hope you are all doing well and praying for Mangilal.

The initial two cycles of chemotherapy went well. But the result of Bone marrow test taken after those two cycles showed 10 to 20% of cancer cells in his blood. The requirement for the Bone marrow transplantation is that it should be less than 5% of cancer cells.

Thus the doctors decided to administer him a single intensive chemotherapy, replacing the preplanned two cycles of chemotherapy to be followed. The intensive chemotherapy, the final cycle of chemotherapy, was finished yesterday.

It takes about a month time to recover to his normal stage (it takes a week for recovery from Normal chemotherapy).

At present, he is kept under observation and he will be tested for bone marrow again. If the result shows less than 5% of cancer cells, the doctors will proceed him to Bone marrow transplantation after his recovery. In case if it is not, the doctors will be deciding about further procedure.

Would request you to pray for him, Hope for the best. We will be updating you regularly. Thank you for all the support.
