Story

"Is desh ka kuch nahi ho sakta" "Nothing can change this country"

Too many illiterates (25%), Too many poor or unemployed(22%) and so many malnourished or sick (60% children), is desh ka kuch nahi ho sakta.

As a teacher in a low income community, I experienced these things first hand. Before losing all hope, i thought to do a landscape study of my community and I could create some relations, why nothing is working.

The circular chart below indicates everything that is going wrong in the community of 900 families.

With a belief, "shayad" change can be brought to a community, I thought of breaking this circle.
I plan to do 3 things:
1 - provide better education : tuitions
2 - provide skills to adults : Mobile Repairing
3 - Awareness: Financial Literacy and Health issues

To achieve this vision, I am trying to open a community center, work relentlessly in the next 10 months after which I believe the community center can be made sustainable on its own.

To start it I need some funds.

1 - Rent/electricity bill for the space for next 10 months: 3500 x 10 = 35000
2 - 4 sets of a table and 4 chairs = 2500 x 4 = 10000
3 - 2 Mobile repairing kits = 4000 x 2 = 8000
4 - A fan and a tube light= 1500
5 - Canvas board (Cheaper version of white board) = 500
6 - Books and Photocopies = 5000
                            Total = 60000

I have already raised 8000 rupees with the help of my friends outside India and am still in need of 52000 rupees.

I hope to raise this amount at the earliest, so that I can start changing India,
shayad is desh ka kuch ho sakta, try karen ?
