Pranav is a very cute 3-year-old boy who was vomiting intermittently for two weeks. His paediatrician suspected leukaemia based on results of a blood test and referred him to our hospital. 

Pranav suffers from a form of blood cancer called B-ALL ( Acute lymphoblastic leukemia). 80% of children with this type of leukaemia can go back to being cancer free. Without timely treatment, he will not be able to survive. He will need repeated hospital visits and admissions for chemotherapy as well as multiple procedures including bone marrow testing and lumbar puncture with chemotherapy for complete cure. The total treatment lasts for three years to ensure complete cure. Most of the expenses occur during the first 6 months when the intensity of treatment is maximum.  

Pranav’s father is the only earning member for their family of four. They will be unable to raise complete funds needed for this intensive phase in such short time span of 6 months. The parents will be able to contribute a maximum of 2 lakhs rupees towards his treatment. 

Hence, we urge to help this cheerful child and his family in their hour of need.We have already initiated basic procedures like lumbar puncture for treatment as well as set up a special intravenous line called PICC to give chemotherapy and started him on chemotherapy. He also needed platelet and blood transfusions due to severe anaemia and low platelet count which put him at risk of bleeding.
