Greetings!!

The Oxford dictionary defines the word Opportunity as a time or set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something. It is often too easy to overlook these circumstances that made our lives possible. Education inequality in prevalent India and I have got an opportunity to bridge the gap in the quality of education (by being a teacher for third standard kids). As a fellow at Teach For India, I am going to utilize this opportunity to bring out the superpowers in these kids.

With a little help from you, my class at Chennai Middle School, MGR Nagar (a corporation run school for the underprivileged) will be thrilled to witness their circumstances change more drastically than ever. And you will be responsible for creating the opportunities that will bring their dreams to life.

Your contribution will help me rebuild the classroom they deserve, buy them the books they love reading, buy a projector for interactive learning, take them on educational trips and their basic needs such as uniform, materials used for studying (Pencil, Sketch Pens, Books, Notes etc.) along with building the schools infrastructure like Green campus, Well-maintained washrooms and Adequate supplies for other classroom. It is the faith in humanity and the power of togetherness that fuels initiatives like these.
