    This fundraiser will benefit

Whitefield Rising and Dream India Network

    from Bengaluru, Karnataka

Tax benefits for INR donations will be issued by Whitefield Rising Trust

My name is Veda and I will turn 4 years old on June 2. My parents would very much like if, instead of giving me presents, you could donate towards providing for immediate care for children who have either lost their primary caregivers or those whose parents are ailing.

Thanks to the kindness of friends and family, we have already raised about INR70,000 in just two days for another cause (children's education), and now we are opening the fundraiser for COVID care for children who have lost their primary caregiver.

Please show your love to us, by contributing to this cause.

We request you to please identify yourself while donating.

While making donations, please mention the nationality based on the country that has issued your passport. OCI and PIO holders should not choose India as their nationality.

For any queries, please email:

There are hundreds of children who have lost their primary caretakers, one parent or both parents to COVID 19.  There are also children whose parents are currently ailing and are not able to look after them, and children who live in orphanages and childcare centers, in need of immediate care .

The need to raise funds is immediate and urgent since over the past few days fifteen children are already under the care and protection of these homes. Requests for several more children have already been received.

This initiative is under the guidance and support from the Child Protection team (Child Welfare Committee) of the Government of Karnataka, to set up dedicated Quarantine and COVID Care Centers for children.

Infrastructure being setup:

  • Quarantine Centre1: upto 32 children for ages 6 - 11 for boys and girls
  • Quarantine Centre 2: upto 40 children for ages 11-18 for girls
  • Quarantine Centre 3: upto 40 children for ages 11-18 for boys
  • Covid Care Centre: upto 60 children for ages 6-18 for boys and girls

Cost per Quarantine Centre is approximately Rs. 25 lakhs to set up and     operate for 4  months (total Rs. 75 lakhs)

Cost for Children’s Covid Care Centre for infected children is approximately  Rs. 85 lakhs to Rs. 1 crore to set up and operate for 4 months.

All four facilities have been given the Fit Facility certificate under sec.51(1) of Juvenile Justice Care and Protection Act, 2015 from the Child Welfare Committee- Bengaluru, Urban.

Duroflex has already delivered over 150 mattresses for the centers and we thank them for their generosity.
