I thought the uproar after the Nirbhaya incident would touch their conscience. The entire nation coming together, standing up for a cause and fighting against the monsters of society would scare them for sure. They would think a million times now. They would be scared. But little do we realize that they ARE monsters and that's why they do what they do.

Things only worsened after the Nirbhaya case. Everywhere one read about minors getting raped, kids being molested. It was happening even with 3 and 4 year olds. Shocking!!! The recent incident in an Indiranagar playschool made me want to throw up.....not because how horrifying the man was or what he did, but just the fact that the child didn't even know what happened to her. The mother was equally clueless and helpless.

We could go to the moon and back about how the watchman deserves to be punished, schools need to be shut down and authorities need to be questioned.

Could we try something new instead? Could we start training our kids to become a lil badass and not suffer in silence?

Why am I fundraising?

I want to make a film to educate/equip parents to talk to their children by getting into their world and thus empowering them to handle dangerous situations.

"Dont talk to strangers" can confuse a child since an uncle/grandparent who does not visit them frequently could be a stranger to the child. How does a child instantly realize a bad touch? Who clarifies for them whether or not they are in danger? Who empowers them with what to say/do or how to react when they are in danger? How does a child know for sure? Should the child tell it to mommy and daddy inspite of the stranger asking him/her not to? Should the child suffer because he/she is ignorant? Should the child be confused and remain with mixed experiences?

If our kids can grow up with fictitious characters as Batman, Spiderman, Superman, Barbie, Mickey Mouse, Chota Bheem etc., it's time to teach them about some REAL LIFE characters that are BAD.

What do I plan to do with the funds?

I want to make a film that's creative and hard-hitting at the same time. I need funds for equipment, actors and post production.
