    This fundraiser will benefit

    Hope Springs

    from Bullahalli, Karnataka

Tax benefits for INR donations will be issued by Hope Springs

What happens when women cannot nurture and nourish their families due to poverty?

Very little.

Living in a cycle of poverty leads women to unempowerment. What if they could break that cycle?

Hope Springs has adopted the village of Bullahalli about 50 km from Bangalore. They have been visiting Bullahalli to run free monthly health checks about 2 years. Very little has changed however. People still don’t proactively access health care, and women and children in particular have poor health.

Your donation will help us set up a social enterprise for the women in the village so they can earn an additional income and come together to influence each other on improving the health and hygiene standards of their families.

The first project we’re keen to implement is in collaboration with the wonderful people at Chindi.

If monetary needs are supplemented, the women will feel empowered to focus on improving the well being of their families. Because then they can buy soap, build toilets, prevent their families from contracting water-borne diseases, and contribute to a Swatchh Bharat (Better India).

We see hope. We see a better future.

We need your help to make this happen.

Celebrate the women in your life by donating to this campaign.

If you'd like to have a tax receipt please email us on info@hopesprings.in

Who we are helping

About Hope Springs

Kevin Vineeth founded Hope Springs in Bangalore in August 2013. The organization was born out of the burden seen due to the disparity and hopelessness in communities within rural Bangalore, where the basic right to Water, Information, Sanitation, and Healthcare (WISH) is disregarded in many villages, orphanages and old age homes in and around the state.

Since inception, Hope Springs has run over 20 free medical camps across 3 villages and one old age home, serving over 1500 people. The Hope Springs team comprises Kevin and Arpita Kotian, Head of Operations, who manages a team of over 60 volunteers with medical and non-medical backgrounds.

Hope Springs’ ideology is based on the firm foundation of young and innovative thinking to find sustainable solutions to help lift families and individuals out of poverty and at the same time raise awareness to the truth about the livelihoods of many rural Indian families.

About the #giftHOPE Campaign

Hopelessness, we believe, is too grave a feeling to experience. Hence, we are looking for fabulous people with a heart of gold to be a part of this campaign.

The #giftHOPE (Health, Opportunity, Provision and Empowerment) campaign will fund raise for four key areas in which Hope Springs hopes to impact and drive lasting change. Each campaign has a champion and a target.

1) Chandni Kapur Target: Rs. 2,00,000

2) Kevin Vineeth Kumar Target: Rs. 1,50,000

3) Arpita Kotian Target: Rs. 50,000

4) Chakravarthy Rangaswamy Target: Rs. 2,00,000

The campaign begins with the TCS Marathon, and will extend beyond if required till we reach our target. Those who participate in the Marathon will be asked to select a campaign to contribute their funds toward. In 2014, about 60 people ran the marathon in support of Hope Springs and this year we are aiming for 200.

The success of the #giftHOPE campaign will dictate how much of a lasting change we can make with our programs.

We ask that you dig deep and stay connected with Hope Springs to share the excitement of positive change.

About Bullahali

Bullahalli Village is located between Chickballapura, Nandi Hills, and Devanahalli in the State of Karnataka, India. It is home to 757 people, with limited access to medical services and lack of proper sanitation and water facilities.

With an unemployment rate of around 65%, majority of the families live below poverty line, have limited access to fresh water, experience poor hygiene and sanitation conditions, and the long-term health prospects of the majority of this community are bleak.

Water-borne diseases are the most common cause of illness in this community. After having completed 5 medical camps since March 2014, Hope Springs has recognized a clear need to build and grow an advocacy and health prevention program within this village to create real and sustainable change.
