My name is Hemant Dixit working with Reliance Industries Ltd and have been doing cycling since more than a Year for health and discovered joy out of it, using cycle mostly for office commute(30 Kms To & Fro) and did some long rides as well(Upto 600 Kms).
Now after completion of 10,000 Kms of cycling, the plan is to do a self sufficient ride as longest cycle to work to My current project site @ Jamnagar (Worlds Largest Refining Complex) from Mumbai Approx 900-1000 Kms Ride.
This is to promote concept of Cycle2Work during the journey ,so that maximum people use cycle for commute and contribute for green pollution free environment apart from saving ever depleting fossil fuel.
Date of Ride - Starting from Mumbai -28th Sept and Ending on 30th Sept/1st Oct.
Cancer as disease is disastrous and I had seen some known people untimely dying out of this, cancer amongst children(below 18 years) has established itself as a major cause of childhood mortality.
Lets cycle to work/cycle to school/cycle to business - keep our joints moving, and help me raise funds during this ride for treating children affected with cancer.
