Malnutrition refers to deficiencies, excesses, or imbalances in a person’s intake of energy and/or nutrients.
Malnutrition can lead to:
•Short- and long-term health problems
•Slow recovery from wounds and illnesses
•A higher risk of infection
•Difficulty focusing at work or school
In covid-19 situation underprivileged families are affected a lot . Due to lockdown and unlocks job stability is not there. People are facing a problem even for managing a food for one time. From 2019 to 2020, the number of undernourished people grew by as many as 161 million, a crisis driven largely by conflict, climate change, and the COVID-19 pandemic
Now situation become better , but currently people also facing a problem of getting a food.
So I Bhawna Badlani as a volunteer of “Hamari Pehchan NGO” decide to contribute as much as I can to feed people , which help the country to overcome with the situation of malnutrition .
After a research I come to know that 3/ 5 child died due to malnutrition under the age of 5 years. So, I have decided to help them with the monthly distribution of Ration/Meals
Basic necessities for 1 family: Rs.2199/-
Basic necessities for 10 families: Rs.21990/-
Basic necessities for 35 families: Rs.76965/-
Ration for 1 family includes:
( Three types of Pulses, Rice, Atta, Eggs, Tea, Sanitary Pads, Soap, Shampoo, Cloth, and Utensils washing powder)
No amount is big or small, it’s the contribution that matters! You can donate for a one time meal i.e. Rs.50/-
