This is about Balakrishna aged 52yrs old.
He is part of a small Middle class happy family , with his wife (home maker) and a daughter (Studying 1st Semester Engineering) and is the sole breadwinner for the Family.
He was very healthy and Diet conscious person (Pure Vegetarian and Non Alcoholic), But on 8th Dec 2017 morning he was suddenly fainted and became unconscious at his home and was rushed to Bangalore Baptist Hospital.
After Initial Diagnosis from the Hospital, they mentioned it is due to Decrease in the Sodium Level and Increase in the Ammonia in the blood they started the treatment by admitting him into ICU.
Since then he started detereoting .
1. His Liver is not functioning properly , which is not able to convert the ammonia into UREA
2. Urine outflow decreased as Kidney not functioning in full extent
3. He became totally unconscious , suspecting Brain dysfunction
4. His Ammonia level is kept increasing, which is like a toxic and will make other organs to fail
He is in Partial COMA State and very rarely gains slight conscious, they suspect it as Hepatic Encephalopathy.
Doctors are not able to find the cause and treat him with correct medicine until date its 20 days in ICU as on 28th Dec.
Since he is COMA , we aren't sure when he is going to regain conscious and will have to keep him in the ICU Until then.
Couple of times we have seen him shed tears when his daughter or wife talks to him, Doctors suspect his subconscious is able to hear everything but not able to respond.
Hospital has suggested Bill might shoot up to INR 10,00,000 or even more.
Even after he regain conscious , we need to treat for his Liver (May be Liver Transplant which might cost again INR 30,00,000)
