Assam Flood Relief Campaign "মই অসমীয়া"
Even a Rs.50/- can make a difference!
We Need Your Support to help those who have lost a lot in the Floods in Assam.
Many deaths so far, thousands of hungry & thirsty lives, staccato communication & transportation, intolerable misery are just a few words not enough to depict the exact situation!
And we want your help to provide those flood affected people with food items and everyday essentials.
We know that we cannot reach each & everyone in need at this wee hour, yet our effort is to reach, help and feed those in the selected localities of Sivsagar, Tinsukia, Golaghat, Nagaon and Morigaon in Assam (where the relief is still below the average).
The campaign actually started with a Facebook photo frame with the name of the cause "মই অসমীয়া" and is available at THIS LINK
Here's a Project Management Gantt Chart of this Flood Relief Campaign for your kind reference:

We aim to distribute the following essential items, upon successful completion of this campaign :
1. Water Bottles,
2. Rice,
3. Lentils (Daal/Daali),
4. Grams & Pulses,
5. Potatoes,
6. Onion,
7. Biscuit,
8. First aid kits,
P.S.: Chapati or Roti is not a common food of the people of Assam.
Why don't we distribute the donated clothes?
People might have lost their everything to this devastating flood, but not their self-esteem. So, please do not give them your used clothes. Better donate them to those living in the streets with very less of the same.
We welcome your feedback and suggestions at our FB pages FB.com/SMCAssam // FB.com/NEDMInstitute
Will keep you all posted; Thank You!

In comparison to our FB profile picture frame campaign at this LINK, the fundraising campaign performed little lower.
We also raised a little fund, twice of this amount in mIlaap, offline. Our core members Shikha and Pranita took that pain.
In our next level, as in the Gantt Chart in the description, we are going to distribute the items among the most needy ones affected & deavstated by the flood in Assam.
At the same time, we pray that Mumbai and Houston come out of their Flood situation early and strong!
