Seeking financial assistance for my daughter Anindita Pal’s treatment. She has been suffering from Acute Myeloid Leukaemia with MDS related changes.
Possible treatment is high intensity Induction chemotherapy (costing about 10-15 lakh) followed by allogenic bone marrow transplantation (costing about 35-50 lakh). This estimate is as per CMC VELLORE.
About Anindita, she has just completed her M.Sc. degree From CU and is recently qualified for the Research Eligibility Test to pursue her Ph.D. at CU. She has Mediclaim policy with National Insurance Company which covers paltry sum of Rs 2 Lakh only. In this condition it is very difficult for me to shoulder the financial burden of this above mentioned treatment cost.
In this respect, I humbly appeal to your good self for financial assistance as much as possible to save my daughter’s life. Your kind hearted consideration will be motto for our future living.

About her treatment
After initial treatment like diagnosis and first cycle of chemotherapy at CMC Vellore (costing about Rs. 2.75 lakh) we returned to home town Kolkata and approached to TATA MEDICAL CENTRE (TMC), Kolkata for further treatment for cost cutting. Budget estimate of TMC is also enclosed.
Anindita is now admitted at TMC, Kolkata (since 26.4.18). Induction chemotherapy is started on 28.4.18. After sucessful chemotherapy and complete remission, BMT will be initiated.
