We are Team Zeus Racing and Team Zelus Racing from Faculty of Engineering, Christ University, Bangalore.
This year we are going to participate in the SAEINDIA e-Baja 2018 and m-Baja 2018 event which is going to take place in Indore and Roper in January and March, 2018 respectively.
SAEINDIA BAJA is competition in which teams selected are asked to design and fabricate an ALL TERRAIN VEHICLE. For more info on SAEINDIA BAJA you can visit http://www.bajasaeindia.org/abouts.html
The selection criteria for the selection for this event was to clear the SAEINDIA Virtual Baja, 2017 which took place at Chtikara University , Chandigarh, Punjab.
We secured 17th rank at national level in which totally 45 teams participated in e-Baja. We have secured 152nd out of 400 teams in the virtual round of main baja 2017. Now, after clearing the virtual rounds we have started the fabrication of the e-Baja vehicle. This ATV which runs using a motor powered by using a battery(e-Baja) and an IC engine (m-Baja).
The total estimated budget of the vehicle is approximately 8.9 lakhs(e-Baja)(taking place in Indore) and 6.9 lakhs (m-Baja)(taking place in Chandigarh).
We are a team of 50 engineering students is looking for funds from external agencies for the fabrication of the vehicle.
Therefore, we request you to sponsor our team either with products, materials or monetary means. There are various benefits of sponsoring the team which are mentioned in the brochure of the team attached with this mail.We hope to see positive and quick reply from you.
