Ever smiling Ana Raissa da Costa hailing from Goa, needs help in fighting against Bronchial Fistula.

First diagnosed in March 2018 and underwent an operation called 'Pneumothorax Surgery' at Apollos, Bangalore in April 2018. Due to a few complications at Apollo hospital, she was then transferred to Gangaram Hospital in Delhi on 19 Aug 2018.

She has been suffering from multiple serious medical complications in the last few months. She has been in and out of the hospital till date but since then has been completely hospitalized to undergo multiple surgeries to correct holes in the trachea and oesophagus.

5 June 2018: Underwent Thoracoscopic decortication for empyema right lung & colonic pull up.
19 Aug 2018: Transferred to Gangaram Hospital in Delhi due to complications at Apollo hospital
22 Sep 2018: Major surgery to repair the Trachea & remove damaged colon
21 Oct 2018: Discharged to recover at home
26 Oct 2018: Admitted back to Gangaram the HDU
Oct 2018: Stomach surgery performed 
29 Oct 2018: Stent inserted in the Trachea
3 Nov 2018: Window Thoracoscopy performed
27 Dec 2018: Tracheostomy is performed
28 Jan 2019: Discharged to recover at home
Aug 2019: Readmitted to ICU with serious complications
Sept 2019: Discharged to recover at home
2 Feb 2020: Admitted to check the stent in Trachea
4 Feb 2020: Complications in the stent in Trachea & admitted to ICU on ventilator for 14 days
12 Feb 2020: Flanged Tracheostomy Tube inserted
Mar 2020 Moved to ward to recover

Doctors are very pleased with her fighter spirit but are hoping to find a long-term solution for her condition.

From the start of this year till today, her medical bills are touching lakhs. Her immediate family and friends have borrowed money to clear about 50% of the expenses thus far. The family is in immediate need of raising more funds to clear the balance 50% of the payment. In addition, they also need funds to sustain the treatment for the coming weeks.

All funds donated will directly go to Ana's account and will only be used for medical treatment and rehabilitation.
