Samarpan Trust is rescuing children with mental/physical disabilities from neglectful and abusive households since 2013. We currently provide 24/7 care to these children in a family-like environment, Samarpan Home. House-mothers, whom are widows, provide love and care to these children as if they were their own. All of the necessary medical care, physical therapy and special education is provided to the children according to their individual needs. We also counsel and educate parents, families and communities about 'special needs' and help them understand and accept the child.
In addition, Samarpan Trust is running an Education Program during the day in order to provide education and a healthy environment to children of laborer families who otherwise would be roaming the streets all day. These children receive basic education, life-skills training, art & music, three healthy meals, and medical treatment if necessary.
Samarpan Trust is seeking financial support of the rent and maintenance of the Home. The rent is Rupees 40,000/- per month including maintenance. Our goal is to raise the annual cost of Rent. Every Rupee counts and helps us in this work!
