When we talk about the growth of the country, we take various factors into consideration and education is one of them. While urban schools are getting the best of infrastructure, facilities and teachers, schools in rural areas are still struggling for facilities as basic as toilets. Lack of teaching staff and motivation among students are two of the major reasons behind poor education quality in rural schools. 85% of the government schools are in villages, and do not get the benefit of quality education.

The biggest challenge is also the opportunity that Priya Foundation is seeking to tap. While India has a shortage of 1.2 million teachers, we also have more than 40 million people who graduated in the last 20 years who could be a ready source to tap into.

Getting the child and convince the parents to send their children but they are always in denial mode but we are organization focused into rural Odisha like to change the scenario especially in rural districts.

We are able to accommodate 40 children as of now and 51 woman taking tailoring training .

We strive to connect the willing volunteer with the yearning child. You can support us in various ways. You could also help us to donate the school uniform,school stationary and shoes .

Apart from that, you can donate through this campaign and website, share the joy or just simply spread the word. A sum of just Rs.10,000 can fund the annual education of 4 children. Your contribution can help them reach out to more children across more villages.

We set a rough estimates of Rs.3,20,000 the expense to repair 2 room flooring , sitting arrangement for children and help us to provide them basic uniform , shoes , stationary etc.

Your generous support would help us to provide better facility for 40 children in rural Odisha .

The generated fund would utilized to repair the school room flooring , sitting facility for the children and we will also able to provide basic amenities like proper school uniform,shoes and library for this children .

We always get more queries for adding more children but we are unable to do so due to lack of infrastructure etc .
