Hi All,

My name is AR. Alagu Sundaram and I am with cognizant for about 5 years and 4 months. I have 2 children, my son is 4 years old and studing UKG and daughter is 11 months old.

My daughter name is Deekshitha Sree and she is a premature baby and she was born before the given date as in the 8th Month of my wife's pregnancy. She was about 1.5 KG and was in NICU for about 28 days after her birth.

Now when watching her day to day activities we came to know she is not able to Hear and not sure about she is able to speak or not. So when we checked with our regular pediatrician, doctor checked and referred us to Ramachandra Hospital in Porur for further medication. When checked with them doctor confirmed she has both the hearing and speaking problem and also having spine problem, which should have been treated before and requested to have all the tests done immediately and not to prolong.

When checked with the doctors in SRMS they confirmed the medical fee for all the consulting, Scans, test and therapy which need to be carried out 2 times a week for about 2 - 3 months and also the coclear implant surgery will cost ariund 7.5 to 8 lakhs. Also when check with UHC insurance they confirmed like this will be not covered as this is premature term and no treatments for this will be covered by them. As of now I can manage a maximum of 50-60 thousands. Also I am not able to get loans from bank as I am already held up with loans and both of my and my wife's parents are not in a position to help us financially. Tried with most of my friends and relatives and no is in a position to help me as of now. And this is a immediate need in which the surgery need to be done as soon as possible to have this hearing and speaking ability to get corrected along with her spine problems.

Please support me to have my daughter problem rectified, so that it will be very helpful for her and my family.
