About IL&FS Skills Development Corporation
ILFS and Cheema Advanced Welding Labs to create skilled welders across various levels. This unique center provides training at the Industrial complex of Cheema Boilers and is an integrated course of theory, practice, and finally on-the-job training. In order to sensitize the youth of high demand for welders and also to create an aspiration for welding as a career, ILFS has launched an overseas placement program. Under this program, trainees - mostly from semi-urban bankgrond of Punjab - will undergo rigorous industry oriented training for six months. Post the training, they will be have the specialized skills which will make them employable in countries like Australia and the Gulf.
