About BJS
Belghoria Janakalyan Samity (BJS), a non-governmental organization, works in two districts of West Bengal. It is committed to bring about positive changes in the lives of poor people especially women by making them socially and economically empowered. It does this by creating employment for them and supporting them by meeting their capital needs. Besides microfinance, which is its core program, it is also involved in various social welfare projects that aim at social development of the target community. The BJS-Milaap partnership is in the area of Enterprise Development program for women in the region.
