About Bharathi Women Development Center
Bharathi endeavours to carry out initiatives useful to marginalized and vulnerable segments and communities. Working at the grass-root level in 3 districts of Tamil Nadu. Their project based accountability approach is integrated with socio-economic concerns related to the funders and stakeholders. Our overarching strategy in implementing the projects includes community mobilization, formation and strengthening of community based institutions, enhanced participation in local governance, advocacy with government & other stakeholder and capacity building. In doing so, Bharathi facilitates improvement in the overall quality of life of the local communities. With their partnership with Milaap, they are looking to fund women's businesses and energy needs.
