My father underwent the Liver transplantation surgery last week. The surgery was said to be performed without any issues. However, the next day, his BP dropped suddenly and he developed an infection, for which he was on triple pressor therapy and high dose antibiotics. Yet, he did not show any improvement and his condition remained the same. He was also on ventilator support and renal dialysis. The following day he had a sudden cardiac arrest. Resuscitation was attempted, which was unsuccessful. He passed away early morning at around 5.48 am.

Dear Friends and Well wishers,
I whole heartedly thank each one of you who are praying for my father's health and have contributed this much for us. Overwhelmed.
I have admitted my father at Dr. Rela Institute and Medical Centre as he was unstable and disoriented for the past 3 days. He is undergoing treatment to make him stable and fit in order to undergo the transplant. He is being fed using Nasogastric tube as he is unable to eat normally. Also, he is quite disoriented which the doctors said is due to the progressively developing Hepatic Encephalopathy.
Yesterday, suddenly he faced a fall in BP, which was treated immediately. He is now taking an expensive drug (Terlipressin) to take care of his BP, in addition to daily doses of Albumin and Antibiotics (Piptaz).
As he is currently unstable and the various blood and renal parameters are not within the normal range, the doctors have postponed the surgery till he becomes normal.
