Dear Supporters,

We have some unfortunate news to share:

We were waiting for a heart transplant for Mr.Ranjit, But it was never to happen. He passed away and could not make it despite the best medical efforts.

These funds are required by his family in their moment of grief as they have to settle the transportation costs of transporting the deceased's body to Agartala by flight from Kolkata and to perform his last rites.

Every bit of money is of use to them.

Here's a quick update:

Ranjit remains sick with a failing heart as we keep looking out for a heart for him. In the meantime drugs used to keep his heart beating are expensive and need critical care monitoring. The support cannot be withdrawn as these are critical moments where a heart may be around the corner and we need to be prepared. We still need more support so please help us reach out to your near and dear ones and please spread the message.

Here's a quick update:

2 days back Ranjit stopped putting out urine and became very sick and was not responding to higher doses of inotropes and vasopressors. He had to be put on an intra-aortic balloon pump for cardiac support which makes him very critical. Thanks to the IABP support we have been able to get some urine output. He keeps waiting for a heart and needs your support all the more.
