With a heavy heart, we would like to inform you that Sougata passed away due to cardiac arrest. There was a brief period a few months ago when his family couldn't take him for his regular treatment at the hospital because of COVID measures. They believe that that deteriorated his condition beyond repair.

When he went into cardiac arrest they thought he would pull through, because it had happened before. But unfortunately, he didn't. He was a brave child. May his soul rest in peace.

The funds raised with the help of your support were utilized for his treatment.

Sougata was admitted in the ICU last month but now he has been discharged and undergoing treatment in Chennai. The doctors say that he has recovered from the infection and is healthier however his progress in slow and has advised that the treatment will continue for another month.
Thank you all once again for the support. Please pray for his speedy recovery and continue to support him.

Thank you for all the prayers and support.

Sougata is unwell. Post his surgery in Septemeber, he has been hospitalised on and off. He has been admitted with a severe lung infection and the doctors have performed a staining procedure for his lungs. The doctors have informed that they do not know how soon he will get well again. We will keep you all updated on his progress.
