Dear Supporters,

Thanks for helping Edgar and his family.

Edgar is making progress and was discharged last week. He underwent yet another surgery by the neurosurgical team last week to reduce the pressure in his brain. A drain has been placed to divert the flow of cerebrospinal fluid so that pressure in his brain is maintained.

All his wounds have healed and his infections are under control. However, after all evaluation, ENT surgeons and Anesthesiologist feel that he would need few more weeks to come off the tracheostomy.

He will be receiving ongoing care at home with a help of a nurse. This will help him to be with his parents and get back to home atmosphere after a long hospital stay. He is also undergoing neuro rehabilitation.

His grandparents are excited to have him home back. Thank you all!
