Meher made it safe to her forever family in Arlington, USA on 17th may 2019! She has settled into her forever home and is having a blast at her home with her brother bubs and sister hazel ❤

Finally, Though I was excited for our little girl to start her new life, I still had a lump in my throat saying goodbye to her at the airport. I'm so lucky that meher found good people to help her throughout her journey.
She is where she is today because of you all !!

Here's a quick update:

Meher's travel date has changed. She is leaving on 9th of may 2019. It will be 30 days on 4th of may 2019 post the rabies vaccination. Her final health examination will be done tomorrow post which she will receive her fit to fly certificate and other health certificate which is required to do the further paperwork. 3 sweet months with this girl has passed by.. this is a bittersweet experience.. I am glad our little girl is finally going to be around her forever family! Just 9 more days and she will be in their arms :")

 The raised funds will cover her flight ticket approx.

Well,everyone, it's official!!  

Meher's flight is booked!! So many thanks to give everyone involved in this inspiring process so far.
We have to give a very special thank you to kathleen & Kevin. Probably the trickiest part of this process was finding someone to be Meher’s flight companion. As we struggled to find someone to fly with her, we posted requests for help, as many of you probably know from following her story. Kathleen and Kevin, who have been following this journey, reached out to a friend of theirs in India and, before even letting us know, secured Meher’s travel companion! A big thank you to her travel companion, Sridhar Anand who is doing this trip solely for meher !!!  We don’t know how to adequately express what their selfless act means to us. So, 21 days from today, meher's family will get to hold Meher for the first time and we, in large part, have them to thank for that ❤️
