Salutations from SERUDS!
We have been providing a healthy midday meal to older people who are unfortunate since the terrible floods that occurred in Kurnool in 2009, thanks to your timely gifts to charity. In order to provide the elderly women with a hygienic supper, we created an elegantly maintained kitchen in our care facility. The primary households in Kurnool were relocated to several neighbouring metropolitan cities, towns, and states, including AP, Karnataka, and Telangana, following the devastating floods. The sons and daughters moved away from their parents' house to work as daily wage labourers wherever the mason assigned them to work on building sites. They start working as migratory labourers in various cities. Age-related concerns prevent older people from working since their health no longer allows them to do so. Some of these people are childless and live in thatched homes. Many elderly persons also do not have any injuries.
This is our esteemed endeavour to provide meals to elderly individuals who are unlucky. These thirty elderly parents, who are between the ages of sixty and ninety, live in the Budhavarapeta slum near the graveyard in Kurnool. We have identified them and are providing wholesome meals, which consist of steam-cooked rice, dhal, sambar, curd or buttermilk, pickles, and seasonal fruits, to the unfortunate elderly women on a daily basis. We donate sarees and blouses every festive season. We recently celebrated the Diwali Festival on November 4, 2021. We enjoy all the festivals and spread joy to the elderly who are impoverished.Please come forward to help the SERUDS.
