Dear Supporters,

We from the Dhyan Foundation have been pleased to receive your patronage and support in our goal to helping the Border Security Force (at the Indo-Bangladesh border) in rehabilitating 20000 (twenty thousand) cows, bulls and calves of all age groups which were rescued from being illegally transported to slaughterhouses across the border to Bangladesh from Nov2018 to date.

With the help of BSF and your support, we were able to completely halt the illegal smuggling of cattle across the Bengal border into Bangladesh. While this number was in lacs just one year ago, today this number has come down to a trickle. This would not have been possible without your generous support.

However, the battle is yet not over. Not only feeding 20,000 mouths a big responsibility, but there is also a significant portion of the money that is being spent in the medical care of these rescued souls. When they arrive at our Gaushalas, these animals have already gone through immense physical as well as mental trauma. Mafia injects heavy metals in their bloodstream during the transit to keep them subdued. Providing them with the best medical help is our foremost priority.

Also, since the smuggling has been completely controlled in the Bengal border region, the mafia is looking for other avenues to continue their illegal business. They have turned their attention to Assam, where our volunteers are working 24x7 with the BSF to rescue more animals. Our numbers are daily increasing.

These rescued animals deserve a good home and care, and by donating to us, you are directly helping them recover from all the trauma they have experienced.

The average cost of feed and maintenance of these rescued souls comes to approx. 2100/- per head per month and 25,000 per head per annum.

Monthly expense & daily expense to feed and take care of the rescued babies is close to 12-14 lakhs.
